THE PRODUCTION

PRODUCTION AND PACKING

After the harvest, the fruits of mango are brought from the field to the packing, where they are washed, selected, and classified by quality and size. Finally, all mangoes that have the desired quality and specifications, are packed in carboard boxes that weight between 4.0 and 4.5 kg (for ground and marine transportation) or 6 to 7kg (by air transportation). Those conditions are required by the international markets.

After the packing, the boxes are stowed and armed in pallets to be in refrigeration storage util they are ready to sell. We have stainless steel machinery for washing and packing of mangoes with a total capacity of packing 3 containers per day, for Canadian and European markets. Depending on the necessities of the markets, we work with three types of transportation: ground, marine and air.
